browser-automation / app
BrowserOS neo
Capability: BrowserOS neo
Use it when
- An authorized MCP workflow needs a persistent local browser session for a site that cannot be exercised from a fresh headless profile
- You need to watch a browser agent live and retain a local step-by-step replay for reviewing what it clicked and entered
What it solves
Not the fit when
- Unsupervised purchases, messages, submissions, account changes, or destructive actions
- Giving an agent broad access to imported passwords or sessions that are not required for the task
- Automating sites where authorization or terms do not permit it
- Headless CI browser testing
- Linux; BrowserOS neo supports macOS and Windows
- Environments that prohibit anonymous usage telemetry unless it is disabled in Settings
- headless CI browser testing
- cloud-scale parallel scraping fleets
- writing scraping code or selectors
- general web page parsing libraries
Install
Download and run the installer: macOS BrowserOS_neo.dmg or Windows BrowserOS_neo_installer.exe from cdn.browseros.com, then import logins, bookmarks, and extensions from Chrome in one click
Invoke
Install BrowserOS neo, import only the Chrome profile data you are willing to expose to an agent, and connect the selected MCP client from the install board. Begin with supervised read-only or reversible browser tasks and review the live session before authorizing messages, purchases, account changes, submissions, or deletions; replay artifacts remain under `~/.browserclaw/`.
